Successive Air Force Commanders (1949-2000)
The Air Force of the People's Liberation Army of China (CPLA) was formally established on November 11, 1949. After half a century of construction, the Chinese Air Force has become one of the most powerful air forces in the world. In recent years, the great achievements made by the Chinese Air Force have impressed the world. With the successive service of the J-20 and Y-20, the Chinese Air Force has ushered in the best period in its history. At the same time, the development of the H-20 strategic bomber is also being stepped up.

He served as Deputy Chief of Staff of the People's Liberation Army and Commander of the Air Force. During the "Cultural Revolution", he actively participated in Lin Biao's conspiracy to usurp the supreme power of the party and the state. In 1973, he was expelled from the party and all his positions within and outside the party were revoked. His military rank must have been cancelled, so Wu Faxian was no longer a general.
