On January 23, Liao Min, Vice Minister of Finance, said at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that the next step will be to further promote the entry of insurance funds into the market in accordance with the requirements of the "Implementation Plan for Promoting the Entry of Medium- and Long-Term Funds into the Market" and revise the long-term assessment system for state-owned commercial insurance companies. The main considerations are: first, to increase the weight of long-term assessment in operating efficiency indicators, such as adjusting the weight of long-term indicators of return on net assets to no less than 60%, increase more long-term funds into the market, and make the assessment cycle more suitable for the investment cycle of long-term funds; second, to implement long-term assessment of state-owned capital preservation and appreciation indicators to achieve stable growth of owners' equity and preservation and appreciation of state-owned capital; third, to promote state-owned commercial insurance companies to improve their investment management capabilities.
