Beijing News: According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, the Central Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning for cold waves at 06:00 on January 24:

Affected by the cold wave, it is expected that from 08:00 on January 24 to January 27, the temperature in most parts of my country will drop by 8-12℃ successively, and the temperature in the eastern part of the northwest region, the western part of North China, and the northern part of the southwest region may drop by more than 14℃. The above-mentioned areas will be accompanied by 4-6 northerly winds, with gusts of 7-9. From the 26th to the 27th, there will be 6-8 strong winds, with gusts of 9-11 in the eastern and southern seas of my country. On the morning of the 28th, the lowest temperature of 0℃ will be pushed south to the area from northern Yunnan to southern Jiangnan.

It is expected that from 08:00 on January 24 to 08:00 on January 26, northern Xinjiang, central and northern Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, western Shanxi, and northern Sichuan Plateau will successively drop in temperature by 8-10℃, among which northern Xinjiang, western and southern Gansu, most of Ningxia, southern Shaanxi, and northern Sichuan Plateau will drop in temperature by more than 12℃. There will be 5-7 winds and 7-9 gusts in northern Xinjiang, eastern Northwest China, western and central Inner Mongolia, and 5-7 winds and 8-10 gusts in most of Tibet, central and southern Qinghai, and western Sichuan Plateau.

Among them, there will be heavy snow (10-18 mm) in parts of southern Gansu, southern Ningxia, central and southern Shaanxi, and western Henan. The new snow depth in some of the above-mentioned areas will be 2-5 cm, and may reach more than 10 cm in some places.
