China National Radio, Beijing, January 22 (Reporter Men Tingting) On January 21, the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Statistics released the economic situation of Sichuan in 2024.

According to the unified calculation results of regional GDP, Sichuan's regional GDP will reach 6469.7 billion yuan in 2024, an increase of 5.7% over the previous year at constant prices. In terms of industries, the added value of the primary industry is 561.99 billion yuan, an increase of 2.5% over the previous year; the added value of the secondary industry is 2281.69 billion yuan, an increase of 5.6%; the added value of the tertiary industry is 3626.02 billion yuan, an increase of 6.3%.

In 2024, the annual fixed asset investment (excluding farmers) increased by 2.4% over the previous year. In terms of industries, the investment in the primary industry increased by 10.8% over the previous year; the investment in the secondary industry increased by 16.7%, of which the industrial investment increased by 16.5%; the investment in the tertiary industry decreased by 3.1%.

From the perspective of real estate development, real estate development investment decreased by 9.9% over the previous year. The area of commercial housing under construction decreased by 12.1% over the previous year; the sales area of new commercial housing decreased by 20.1%.
